Photography services is responsible for documenting the people, places and events of Kennesaw State that best reflect and support the university's strategic goals. Photography services provides campus-related photography for use in official internal and external publications.
Photography services prioritizes photography coverage to ensure that images from campus-related events are made available for internal and external publications.
The priorities for photography services are as follows:
- Publications produced by the Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing
- Key university-wide events that support the strategic goals of the University
- News photos for release to the media
If your photography needs do not meet the criteria listed above, it may be necessary to obtain quality freelance services for your event or project at your expense. To request photography services or freelance assistance please submit a request electronically using the links below.

Individual headshots are taken on the first Tuesday and the third Wednesday of the month. Appointments are set between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am; 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the hour.Submit headshot request online
The Photography Studio is located on the fourth floor, Town Point. Please stop at the receptionist desk through doors to your right when stepping out of the elevator. The receptionist will inform us that you have arrived. A photographer shall then escort you to the studio.

KSU Spotted Owl is an online photo database that features images of Kennesaw State University’s faculty, staff and students, in addition to Kennesaw State’s campuses and buildings. Users of this site can also find photographs of landmarks and other structures of interest on the campus. The professional images contained within this collection may be downloaded for use on the Web or in reports and presentations that foster the positive promotion of the University.
